Ingredients
2 whole Roma Tomatoes
1 whole Ball Of Fresh Mozzarella, 8 Ounce Size
16 whole Basil Leaves
Salt And Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Olive Oil, As Desired, For Drizzling
Balsamic Glaze, As Desired For Drizzling
Preparation
Slice each Roma tomato into 4 evenly thick slices, for a total of 8 slices. Slice the mozzarella into 8 medallions.
Place the tomato slices on the plate, arranged in whatever pattern you prefer. Place two basil leaves over each tomato slice. Top each piece with a slice of mozzarella. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then spritz with a bit of olive oil. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
