Ingredients:
2 cups Milk
2 Egg Yolks
2-3 tbsp Icing Sugar (as per taste)
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 tbsp Corn Flour
Frozen cubed Fruits
Process:
1. Whisk the egg yolks and corn flour until it forms a thick paste.
2. Add the sugar to the milk and stir until the sugar dissolves and the milk comes to a boil.
3. Remove the sauce pan from heat and let the milk cool for 10 minutes.
4. Add a little milk to the eggs whisking continuously to temper the eggs.
5. Put the saucepan back on heat and add the egg mixture. Stir until well combined.
6. Add the vanilla essence and stir the mixture until it thickens.
7. Let the custard cool and refrigerate for 4-5 hours.
8. Serve with frozen fruits or dry fruits on top. I prefer mangoes, bananas and green grapes.
